As a first in the world, DvH provides Biopellets for reducing NP levels in all types of aquatic applications: from the aquaculture facilities to the professional reefkeepers. The DvH Biopellets have earned a strong name for itself, which is not overestimating the product: overall it is at least 4x more effective at removing nitrate, and at least 10x more effective at reducing phosphate levels.
NP Reducing BioPellets
The new NP removing biopellets by DVH are made of an improved formula of phosphate and nitrate removers, which consist of 100% pure biologically degradable polymers. The biopellets can be used as filter media in both a Fluidized bed filter, or a pot filter which allows for a high water flow rate to keep the pellets in perpetual motion within the filter. The biopellets are slowly consumed by bacteria, which in turn remove nitrate and phosphate from the aquarium water.
The results of the improved biopellets formula makes for a 10x stronger phosphate removal, and a 10x stronger nitrate removal.
Dosing: Since your tank inhabitants need to be able to adjust to the changing climate of their habitat, we strongly advice to start with a small dosis of 50 ml biopellets per 100 liters, and increase to a max of 200 ml per 100 liters over the period of serveral weeks. Add new biopellets every 6-12 months.
